Jimmy Bear began his adult life as a High School Teacher in Perth WA, where he taught Music, Languages, and English.

In 1985 he moved to Sydney to pursue his dream of being able to make a living as a singer/songwriter and live performance musician on the East Coast.

Jimmy plays on average 180 -200 live shows a year and he has developed a highly successful one-man show that provides venues with a fantastic nights entertainment.

Jimmy has held many long term residencies at well known and ‘world famous’ Sydney bars.

Jimmy also plays many other Sydney & NSW venues  and he’s almost a household name on the Sydney live music scene!
